	來到海拔三千四百四十公尺的南崎巴札，街道兩旁都是商店與攤子，在這裡你想的到的、想不到的通通有賣。不只有尼泊爾風味的東西，大量的遊客也帶來了西化影響，在這裡甚至可以看到國際連鎖的咖啡品牌標誌。</p>

	國際連鎖品牌進軍到了世界第一高峯了嗎?其實是腦筋動得快的商人變把戲，買了知名品牌咖啡豆，自己在山上研磨。咖啡店業者Ang Gyalzen：「這是一種特殊風味，很多人會想念這種味道，所以我們提供知名品牌的咖啡。」</p>
<p>
	山上除了像他這樣做獨門生意的，更多是登山用品店，因為是通往聖母峯道路上最高的市集，煮東西用的瓦斯、行囊中少了的禦寒衣物、故障的登山用品都能在這補齊，南崎巴札儼然成為登山客的補給站。人潮帶來商機，沿著山坡分佈的市集，一批批商品不斷靠挑夫與氂牛隊搬運上來，形成山區獨特景象，也造就當地的登山經濟。</p>
